Fall Guardian app for iPhone and iPad

Fall Guardian works in the background and detects falls even when your phone is in lock/standby mode. It works best when it is worn in the pants pocket.

Falls are detected using the phone’s built in sensors. You may calibrate the fall detection sensitivity from the settings menu.

When a fall is detected and confirmed, Fall Guardian can be configured based on your preference to automatically send a message with your GPS location to your emergency contacts via SMS, emails, facebook and can even place an automated call to a contact person set in your settings.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
